Those with an interest in Kilcoole’s history and heritage are invited to meet Sunday 19th January at 2pm in the Convent. Members of the Heritage group are involved in projects to research, promote, and protect the history and heritage of Kilcoole. We invite anyone with an interest in contributing their own historical knowledge, or in advancing heritage projects, to join us.

Hi Collin, there are likely quite a few generations between the Hopton Scott who landed at Ballygannon and married Randelia Byrne in 1692, and the Hopton Scott who went to Tasmania.
